Creator and co-Producer of the Roberto Clemente Celebration Concert. The concert was recorded in July during Major League Baseball's All-Star Week in Pittsburgh. The concert was hosted by Roberto Clemente Jr. and Luis Clemente and featured REM's Mike Mills, Collective Soul's Ed Roland & Joel Kosche, Latin Grammy winning sax player David Sanchez and Pulitzer Prize winning author David Maraniss.
The concert also featured an All-Star House Band including bass player Tony Levin, guitarist David Spinozza, drummer Chris Parker, keyboardist David Sancious, percussionist Bashiri Johnson, Edwin Clemente, Jose Fabres and vocalist Phil Roy.
The concert was recorded for a live CD, DVD and television show and raised funds for Roberto Clemente Sports City and the University Of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute. The live CD and television show will be released shortly.
